We decided to take a day hike up in the farming town of Cerro Punta. It was gorgeous! The farm land rolled up and around the mountians,literally. The places the farms were sown I wouldn't even think you could walk up. Well, it is now heading into the wet season where everyday around 3:00pm it rains. Not just sprinkle or rain, but down pour. We had just found the end of the road at guess what time-2:45ish? We were soaked sooooo fast! Sydney was loving it!
We would run from tree to tree for shelter for a minute and Sydney would just keep going. "Come on kids!" she would holler back at us. The altitude was high enough that it was actually cold too. So we had to get back to the car. But don't you worry-our fun wasn't even close to being spoiled.
We opened the hatch of the car and had picnic in the back. Like a tail gate picnic in the rain.
